The publication funds of the University of Bonn offer the opportunity to apply for financial support for Open Access publications.
What are publication funds?
Publication funds provide financial support for authors who wish to publish their scholarly works in open access. They help cover the publication fees1 to make research results freely accessible.
The University of Bonn offers two funds for open-access publications:
- Publication fund for articles – supports the costs for publications in open-access journals or anthologies.
- Publication fund for books – covers the costs for publishing open-access books (monographs and anthologies).
