As part of the energy saving measures of the University of Bonn please consider the following ULB opening and closing times over Christmas and the New Year:
The Bonn University and State Library (Main Library and MNL Branch Library) is closed on the following days:
- 12/24/2022 to 12/26/2022
- 12/31/2022 to 01/01/2023
Between the holidays and in the first week of January 2023 the following opening hours apply:
- 12/27/2022 to 12/30/2022: noon to 6 pm
- 01/02/2023 to 01/08/2023: noon to 6 pm
During this time you can use our workspaces, as well as pick up and return books.
The following services will not be available from 12/24/2022 to 01/08/2023:
- The information desk is closed.
- Orders from the external stacks and via interlibrary loan cannot be provided.
- The Curtius Reading Room will be closed up to 01/08/2023. Orders from the old stock stacks will be available from 01/10/2023.
- The Media Center in the Branch Library will remain closed. In urgent cases, please email medienzentrummnl@ulb.uni-bonn.de.
- There will be delays in the processing of applications for new library cards and extension of the validity of library cards during the period mentioned above.
From Monday, 01/09/2023, the regular opening and service hours apply again.
