From July 5th 2024, a new version of the online booking system will be available for booking workspaces at the USL Bonn. The new version, which will be available in German only for the time being, offers new features designed to make your personal organisation easier. In addition, the updated version is more user-friendly than before.
Of course, you will be able to book all of the work and study spaces in our Main Library and MNL Branch Library that were available to book in the old version.
Important notice on the transition
For bookings up to and including July 4th 2024, please continue to use the previous booking system, which can be found on the Studying and Working website. The new system version will be available from July 5th 2024.
Please use only the new booking system version for appointments from July 5th 2024.
What will be different?
- New navigation: The update brings together all bookable workspaces in all areas of the USL (Main Library and MNL Branch Library) under a single interface. The selection bar at the top of the page quickly takes you to all the different areas with bookable workspaces. In desktop view, you can additionally navigate using the side menu on the left.
- Naming and abbreviations: Working spaces in the Main Library are preceded by the abbreviation 'HB', while those of the MNL Branch Library begin with 'MNL'. All areas are labelled with a short descriptive text giving information about the facilities, opening hours and purpose of the area.
- Schedule and export function: As soon as you are logged in with your user number (USL Bonn library card number including leading zeros) and the bonnus password, you can access your bookings and export them in the desired format (Excel, CSV, PDF) by clicking on the button with your user number in the top right-hand corner.
An additional export function allows you to transfer individual bookings directly to your personal calendar. Select one of your bookings and click the grey button 'Termin exportieren (.ics-Datei)' at the bottom right to download the event in ics format.
