Numerous Springer e-books permanently available as part of the E-Books.NRW initiative

Students, researchers and lecturers at the University of Bonn now have access to an extended range of e-books: All 8 of the German-language and 12 of the English-language specialist packages from Springer Nature (copyright 2025) are permanently available in full text.

Access options:

  • Members of the University of Bonn: The e-books can be accessed conveniently from home via a VPN connection.
  • External users: The titles can be accessed at the service PCs of the USL.

The enabled packages cover a wide range of topics:

All packages are available in the bonnus catalog or directly through Springer Nature Link via DBIS.

This package is part of the initiative E-Books.NRW (German press release), funded by the Ministry of Culture and Science of the Land of North Rhine-Westphalia and coordinated by the German Library Service Centre (hbz). The aim of the initiative is the permanent expansion of digital teaching and research resources.
