The most important databases, portals and sources of information
arXiv.org1 is a document server for preprints and a major open-access source for academic articles on physics, mathematics, computer science and related subdisciplines.

Web of Science3enables a wide range of databases covering multiple disciplines to be searched simultaneously using a single search interface. Different content can be accessed depending on what license is held.

Via the TIB Portal4, the TIB—the Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology and the library for Leibniz University Hannover—provides access to a range of databases, services and digital offerings.

The Electronic Journals Library7 has a list of electronic periodicals on physics8.
